Currently, the The University of Belize Library consists of four libraries and one resource center, each specializing in their respective departments. Belize City is home to one library and one resource center including the Management and Social Science Library and the Engineering Resource Center. The remaining libraries are found at Toledo Center, Central Farm and at the Central Campus in Belmopan.
Before the amalgamation of the tertiary institutions, UB Library (formerly the UCB Library) consisted of only three libraries: one in Belize City at Faculty of Business, one at UB Toledo and one at UB Belmopan.

This library collection includes mostly Business and Management books, given that the concentration at this faculty is Business Administration. This library also boasts the largest collection of Belize Items on hand. The Belize material ranges from newspapers to Belizean published books.

Originally known as the Science & Technology Library, the Engineering Resource Center houses materials that specialize in the Sciences and Information Technology.

One main feature of this library is that it has two departments – a Circulation Department (downstairs) and a Reference Department (upstairs). The library houses a general collection. Materials range from Information Technology to Literature books. It houses a computer lab whiich is available to students during normal opening hours. Audio/visual equipment can be borrowed from this library.
