INSTITUTIONAL GOALS

  1. To promote knowledge, skills and values needed to enhance the ability of all its student and faculty to contribute to the developmental needs of Belize
  2. To make available a range of curricular offerings, (with emphasis in Science and Technology) which address national needs
  3. To develop, within the University Community a culture of commitment to national issues and development
  4. To establish a self-sustaining research culture within the UB to advance knowledge and support student learning
  5. To promote creativity and critical thinking among students and faculty in curriculum offerings and activities
  6. To increase access to adult and continuing education programs
