Individual libraries of University of Belize Library each semester offer a wide variety of open workshops or in-class sessions designed to assist patrons in the process of library research, information management and computer applications.
The topics mainly include "Learning to use Ebscohost, "How to do Research on the Internet", "How to avoid plagiarism", and "Creating a literacy center". A lecturer can also request a customized topic.
Such sessions can be requested by a faculty member at least five (5) working days in advance. These sessions can be requested either by face to face, e-mail, telephone or by using the following form:
