The University of Belize (UB) engages in recruitment drives at specific times within the academic year. The major recruitment initiative of UB is conducted in the secondary (high schools) and tertiary (Junior Colleges) institutions across the country.
During this period of recruitment, prospective applicants are furnished with invaluable information which enables them to make informed decisions on future studies at our University.
It’s important to note, the University of Belize is on its way to becoming the premier choice of higher education for the nation’s astute and industrious minds.
For convenience, public awareness and accessibility, commencing February 2018, the UB will be conducting Recruitment Fairs in five of our six districts, namely Corozal, Orange Walk, Belize City, Stann Creek and Toledo. Cayo District will take advantage of UB’ Opportunities Fair and presence at the National Agricultural Trade Show, where UB has its annual booth display.
Potential students are therefore encouraged to attend these District Recruitment Fairs where they will receive first-hand information on:
- program offerings
- duration of study
- career guidance/counselling and interaction faculty representatives
- best options for programs of study
- submission of application for admissions
- admission feedback and or recommendation(s)
- transfer of courses
- program costs
- program sequence
- study abroad
- student life at UB
