Sherlene Julien, Director of Finance, leads the integration of the university’s financial and administrative units. Working closely with Deans, senior administrators, and budget officers throughout the university, she oversees financial reporting and budget management and directs efforts to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of financial functions within the university. Mrs. Julien has over 15 years of financial management experience with a focus in financial statement preparation, developing and implementing policies and procedures, risk assessment, budget management, staff development and mentorship, and delivering quality customer service and timely feedback.
The division’s efforts focus on implementing effective and customer-oriented business processes in order to improve services for the University’s stakeholders as well as the delivery of efficient and effective financial reporting to aid decision-making. The division is comprised of the following offices and bears responsibility for:

- Budget Management

The Office of Budget & Finance is dedicated to providing timely and accurate financial information to key stakeholders while protecting university assets, both real and intangible, and ensuring university compliance with local laws and internal policies and procedures. Equally important is the division’s supportive role to the professional development of its staff to foster an atmosphere of synergy and continuous improvement.
