The University of Belize is seeking proposals for the leasing of retail space of approximately 2400 sq. ft. in the building formerly used as the bookstore which is situated near the entrance at the UB Central Campus, Belmopan.
UB proposes that the building’s location serve as a student center to meet some of the needs of a growing population of faculty, staff and students especially as it pertains to food and beverage services, apparel, stationery, electronics, etc.. It is expected that the successful business(es) will offer services of high quality which complement other existing services currently being provided by UB to students, faculty and staff.
Some features of the well appointed building are as follows:
- ATM annexed to the main entrance of the building
- Fully air conditioned interior (fits up to 200 persons)
- Full outdoor verandah (fits up to 100 persons)
- Equipped with state-of-the-art alarm system, surveillance cameras, and coolers
